DVDs

The CBGHA has undertaken a project to digitize
marriage records of the four Cape Breton Counties.

CBGHA member, Juanita MacDonald has digitalized the following records

Inverness County Marriages, records for the years 1862-1908,
containing 2669 documents

Richmond County Marriages, records for the years 1849-1918
containing 2674 documents

Victoria County Marriage , records for the years 1864-1918.
containing 2120 documents

The records are in DVD format, digital images.
The records are the marriage license applications, and permissions
used to make up the Marriage registers of the counties.
There is too much information for a regular CD format.

Inverness County, Richmond County and Victoria County marriage DVDs are available.

For members of the CBGHA the price including postage & handling is $25.00 each.
For non-members the price is $30.00 each including postage & handling.

Cape Breton Countyshould be ready later this year,
prices are not yet established as there
will be more than one DVD required to hold all the material.

The DVDs work well on PC and Macs.
The images are very clear and easy to make out.
They are grouped in 6-7 year increments, in alphabetical order.
This is a great offer of actual images at a low price.
